There's a first time for everything

So I have decided to jump on the old bandwagon and start a blog, since I just realized that all of my siblings already have a blog. I would just like to say that I can't wait for January to be over. No offense to January, but it is pretty much the longest and most depressing month of the year. The good thing about January is my sister Rachel's birthday, but because I live in Logan, and she lives in Lehi, I couldn't even celebrate with the family on this joyous day. Happy Birthday Rach.

Well, in other news I went snow shoeing this weekend, and let me tell you, it was great. Since I am probably the least hard core outdoorsy person in my family, I am glad to say that I actually do cool things on my own, and I do like nature, a lot. I am pretty glad I went because it made me realize that winter isn't all that bad, and can actually be fun. This is somewhat hard for me to say because right about this time of year I want nothing more that green grass and butterflies basking in the warm sunlight. But hey, chin up. Winter won't last forever. And besides we live in Utah, and the snow comes every year, I think its about time we all get used to it and stop complaining.
